A Preflight Checklist for Print Files
Preflight is a shared checklist for the file, the output condition and the finishing plan.

01
Content and geometry
Confirm final size, bleed, trim, folds, page order, linked assets and the approved text. A file can be technically openable and still be the wrong version.
Name the output format and destination. If a special finish is present, show where it begins and ends.
02
Colour and output
Confirm the colour condition, embedded profiles where required, image resolution for the intended scale and the proof or approval route. The check should end with a named sign-off, not a green icon alone.
